Keyport, N.J.-Made Medical X-Ray Device Draws Interest as Security Tool.

Sep. 20--KEYPORT, N.J.-- Executives at Cares Built Inc., the makers of a sophisticated digital X-ray system that can provide a detailed picture of the bones in your hand, foresee another use for their technology: homeland security.

Their belief was fortified last week when their booth at the 2002 Homeland Security and National Defense Symposium in Atlantic City attracted more than 70 people. The company is setting up meetings with the Army's Communications-Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth and Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County.
